Beijing, SANA- “In its relations with China, the United States must avoid the possibility of making a mistake similar to what Europe made before the outbreak of World War I,” American political scientist and professor at Harvard University Joseph Nye said.
“A war between the United States and China would be a fatal mistake,” Nye said in an interview with the Chinese Global Times newspaper, considering that getting involved in a war is the only existential threat.
The United States insists on pursuing hostile policies that would undermine its relations with China, including its continuous interference in China’s internal affairs, especially with regard to the issues of Taiwan and Xinjiang, and dealing with the Cold War mentality and ideological bias.
