National Earthquake Center records 17 weak tremors in 24 past hours

Damascus, SANA- The National Earthquake Center announced that the stations of National Seismological Network recorded 17 weak tremors over the 24 past hours.

Nine tremors have been reported in Liwa Iskenderun ranging between 1.6 and 4.2 magnitudes on the Richter Scale and six quakes in Turkey ranging between 2.0 and 3.0 magnitudes, according to the center.

The center also reported a 2.2 magnitude quake west of Tartous, in addition to another one west of Homs
