Damascus, SANA-The National Earthquake Center announced that its stations recorded during the past 24 hours 16 earthquakes measuring less than 4.4 degrees on the Richter scale.
The center stated in its Facebook account that the recorded tremors ranged between weak and medium.
It added that 7 tremors were recorded in Liwa Iskenderun and its coast with a magnitude measuring between 2 and 2.9 degrees, an earthquake southeast of Beirut with a magnitude of 3.6 degrees, and an earthquake southeast of Hama with a magnitude of 1.6 degrees and 7 tremors on the Turkish mainland with a magnitude ranging between 2.1 and 4.3 degrees.
