Damascus, SANA- Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Louay al-Munajjed met Monday with Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus Counsellor, AbdulHakeem Ebraheem Al-Nuaimi.
The two sides discussed ways of bilateral cooperation through The Syrian Arab Red Crescent(SARC) and Emirates Red Crescent (ERC).
In addition, they addressed the most critical humanitarian needs to face the repercussions of the devastating quake that rocked several Syrian governorates.
Minister Munajjed hailed UAE support offered to the Syrian people in response to the catastrophe, underscoring the importance to draw on the expertise of UAE to support entrepreneurial projects, at the Arab world level and abroad.
Counsellor al-Nuaimi, for his part, said UAE will always lend a helping hand to the Syrian people out of woes, noting that providing humanitarian assistance to countries and peoples is one of the fundamental principles UAE was, and still is, based on since its establishment.
