Five Palestinians injured, dozens suffocated in two Israeli attacks in West Bank

West Bank, SANA – Five Palestinians were injured and dozens were suffocated by tear gas in two different attacks by Israeli occupation forces in Bethlehem and Ramallah in the West Bank.

Palestinian WAFA news agency quoted a security source as saying that two Palestinian youths were injured after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in Dheisheh Camp south of Bethlehem city.

Earlier in the same incident, occupation forces stormed Grand Mosque area in the aforementioned camp and arrested a 26-year-old civilian, which caused clashes to erupt between youths and occupation soldiers, who fired live bullets, tear gas and sound bombs.

In Ramallah city, three youths were injured by rubber bullets and dozens were suffocated from inhaling tear gas during fierce confrontations which erupted with the occupation forces near Attarah checkpoint north of the city Saturday evening.

In Wadi Ara area in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, Israeli police arrested members of “Abna’a el-Balad Movement” during a rally in which dozens of the residents participated in condemning the visit of leaders of Zionist parties to Arab towns.
