Moscow, SANA- The Russian air defense systems shot down 3 missiles which targeted Belgorod region on the Ukrainian border.
“Our air defenses were triggered in Novy Oskol. Three missiles were shot down. The consequences on the ground are being specified,” the central Russian region’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov was cited by Novosti as saying.
The governor added “It is known about one injured, a man with shrapnel wounds to his hand. An ambulance crew has already been dispatched to the site.”
Also, Gladkov said, the debris had damaged several facades and some power lines in some villages near the town. “All emergency and rescue services have rushed to the scene,” the official added.
