Fears of collapses due to tunnels dug by “QSD” militia under citizens’ homes in Qamishli

Hasaka, SANA-Many citizens in Hasaka northern countryside along the border strip with Turkey fear that tunnels dug by US occupation-backed QSD militia might collapse as a result of the tremors witnessed in the region.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the tunnels that the militia continues to dig between residential neighbourhoods and under the main roads could lead to the collapse of homes and facilities over the heads of citizens in those areas.

Local sources in al-Qahtanyia town told the reporter that “QSD” militia dug a tunnel around the town in the eastern countryside of Qamishli, which threatens the houses on the outskirts of the town  to collapse as a result of the digging, particularly since some of the tunnels pass under the town’s houses.

The locals added that this situation applies to most cities, towns and villages on the border strip.

In the town of Ma’badah east of al-Qahtanyia town, the tunnels dug by terrorists have caused the collapse of a number of buildings over the last period, including a building under construction, due to the presence of a tunnel that had been dug under the houses.

Meanwhile in Qamishli City, an oil tanker fell on the main street of the city’s Tayy neighbourhood due to the collapse of a tunnel, while other tunnels caused slides and large potholes in the middle of the street.

The tunnels dug by QSD militia years ago in the areas in which it is deployed have caused the death of a large number of people as a result of sudden collapses in the soil.
