Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces made more gains on Friday establishing control over more areas in Sweida province while inflicting more losses upon terrorist organizations’ ranks in personnel and equipment in other provinces across the country.

Sweida

An army unit established control over Tal al-Majda’ east of Malah town in the Southeastern countryside of Sweida after killing many terrorists and wounding others, a military source said.

Army establishes control over five villages in Hasaka

Army units established control over 5 villages in Hasaka province after killing large numbers of ISIS terrorists in these areas.

SANA reporter said the army established full control over the villages of Farfara, Tal Ahmad, Kherbat Noura, Tafihyeh, and Khazna, in addition to the silos of al-Tawarij in Hasaka’s northeastern countryside.

The reporter said that huge numbers of ISIS terrorists were killed and much of their weaponry and vehicles was destroyed in the process, adding that the army combed the areas and dismantled dozens of explosive devices planted by the terrorists on roads and in locals’ houses.

Daraa

Army and Armed Forces units eliminated several terrorists in Tal Antar in the northeast countryside of Daraa, destroying their equipment and modern devices in Daraa al-Balad.

An army unit targeted terrorist organizations’ gatherings in al-Zarkan area in Tal Antar in Daraa northwest countryside, killing many of their members and injuring others.

In Daraa al-Balad, units of the army destroyed a terrorists’ hideout that contained modern communication devices, eliminating all the terrorists in the area surrounding Bilal al-Habashi mosque.

In al-Mokhayym neighborhood, the army destroyed a domestically-made cannon launcher and a heavy machinegun.

Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and vehicles in Tal Qarin, Tal al-Alaqyeh, Kifr Nasej, Kifr Shams, Tal al-Hara, and near Nawa, killing a number of non-Syrian terrorists.

Terrorist organizations admitted on their social media pages the death of the general military commander of the so-called “Jabhat al-Nusra in the South” Abu Omar Mokhtar who holds a Jordanian nationality.

Idleb

Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Jabal al-Akrad, al-Sheghr, Ein al-Bardeh, al-Qatroun , Maaret Masrin, Tal Salmo and Um Jerin in the countryside of the northern Idleb Province.

Army units also killed a number of terrorists in Ayn Laruz, Jib al-Ahmar, Maar Tab’i, Tal Deint, and Abu al-Dohour in Idleb countryside

Damascus Countryside

Army unit killed terrorists and injures others in Hassno village in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.

Homs

A unit of Army and Armed Forces thwarted a terrorist attack by members of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria(ISIS) against Irk Gas Station in the eastern countryside of Homs, eliminating many of them and injuring others.

A source at Palmyra city told SANA reporter that ISIS terrorists attacked on Friday Irk Gas Station 55 km northeast of Palmyra in Homs countryside where an Army unit had confronted them in cooperation with the station’ workers, killing tenand injuring fifteen others.
Tens of terrorists fled under the strikes of the Army, leaving their weapons and ammunition behind.
