A man martyred and his son injured in landmine blast, Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, SANA- A citizen was martyred and his son was injured as a result of a landmine blast left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in Haribsha area in Deir Ezzor southern countryside while they were searching for truffles.

“A 58-year-old man died at the hospital as a result of shrapnel wounds in the chest and abdomen, while his 13-year-old son sustained shrapnel wounds in the head after a mine went off, and the necessary first aid was provided to him,” Director of the General Authority of al-Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor, Dr. Mamoun Hayza told SANA reporter.

On Monday, ten citizens were martyred and 12 others were injured when two mines left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists went off in the vicinity of Salamiyah in Hama eastern countryside, while they were collecting truffles.
