Russia provides aid to earthquake victims in Hama

Hama, SANA- Hama governorate distributed on Tuesday food aid provided by the Russian Federation to those affected by the earthquake in Hawrat Amourin village, al-Ghab area.

The commander of gathering of Russian forces in rural Idleb, General Paris Novikov, said in a statement to SANA that the aid is a humanitarian duty in favor of the earthquake-affected people to alleviate their suffering and assist them.

Head of the village council, Maya Fati said in a statement that the aid includes foodstuffs to be distributed to the earthquake- affected people, whether they reside in the shelter center or reside in other places, in addition to the needy families in the town.
