Havana, SANA – The National Union of Syrian Students –Cuba branch- took part in the annual Festival of Foreign Students that was held at the School of Dentistry of the University of Havana, Cuba.
Brochures, magazines and newspapers with photos and articles featuring Syria’s rich civilization and deep-rooted culture were displayed at the Syrian pavilion in the festival. A variety of reputed Syrian-made sweets were served as well.
The Syrian pavilion drew a remarkable turnout, with a number of Arab and foreign students expressing in statements to SANA correspondent in Cuba their liking for the pavilion.
They also voiced their solidarity with Syria in its war against terrorism, wishing that Syria will restore security and stability soon.
