Tunisian President orders to send urgent aids to Syria

Tunis, SANA- Tunisian President Kais Saied expressed condolences and sympathy to the Syrian people and the families of the victims and those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria at dawn on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Tunisian presidency: “Saied affirmed his full solidarity with the Syrian government and people,” expressing his country’s readiness to extend a helping hand and contribute to supporting the efforts made in these difficult circumstances in order to overcome the repercussions of this human tragedy.

The statement added that the Tunisian president had ordered urgent aid to be sent to Syria, provided that military planes would transport this aid.
