Damascus, SANA, Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi and Chinese Ambassador to Damascus Wang Qi Jian discussed ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries in different fields and the possibility of expanding trade exchange.
During the meeting, al-Halqi stressed that importance of activate signed contracts and agreements between the two countries, in addition to enhancing the cultural, science and medical exchange.
Syria, after the success of its democratic experience of presidential elections, is witnessing a new historical stage that prepares the ground for building the modern Syria, said the Premier.
He called on the friends of the Syrian people, particularly China, to participate in the reconstruct stage which will be achieved by the Syrians efforts and the help of their friends.
Al-Halqi appreciated stances of Chinese government and people in supporting Syria at the international forums.
For his part, Chinese Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to develop economic relation with Syria and establishing genuine partnership between businessmen and companies in both countries.
