MOSCOW, SANA- Terrorists in Idleb de-escalation zone are plotting sabotage acts against positions of the Syrian Arab Army and Russian forces in an attempt to disrupt the current ceasefire, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

“The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Hmeimim has been informed that terrorist groups, active in the Idleb de-escalation zone, are plotting a series of sabotage acts and attacks on positions of the Syrian Arab Army and Russian servicemen with the purpose of escalating the situation and disrupting the joint ceasefire control,” said Maj. Gen. Oleg Yegorov, Deputy Chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Hmeimim.

Yegorov added that the terrorists plan to publish videos on social networks showing alleged damage to civilian infrastructure in order to accuse the Russian and Syrian armed forces of launching indiscriminate strikes on the territory controlled by the terrorists.
