Moscow, SANA-Russian president, Vladimir Putin, and his Iranian counterpart, Ibrahim Raisi, underlined the importance of continuing coordination within the framework of the Astana process on Syria.
“The two presidents discussed, in a telephone call, the situation in Syria and stressed the importance of continuing close coordination between the two countries within the framework of the Astana process as a main mechanism to enhance the settlement process in Syria,” The Russian presidency said in a statement.
The Presidency added that the two sides also discussed issues related to bilateral relations, including cooperation in the domains of energy and transport.
