Syrian-Omani talks on boosting cooperation in different domains

Muscat, SANA- Chairman of the Council of State of Oman Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, discussed on Tuesday with Syria’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Idris Mayya, ways to strengthen cooperation ties binding the two brotherly countries, and the importance of upgrading them in all fields.

During their meeting, Al Khalili described the Syrian-Omani relations as fraternal and deeply-rooted, adding that the Omani side attaches all importance to developing these relations in all areas, for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples.

In turn, Mayya briefed the Omani side on the latest developments in Syria, especially with regard to the illegal practices carried out by the US and Turkish occupation, which constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, and a clear violation of the Charter of the UN and international law.
