UN General Assembly demands Israeli entity to carry out resolutions related to Occupied Golan

New York, SANA-UN General Assembly on Monday unanimously re-adopted a resolution that calls on the Israeli entity to carry out international resolutions related to the occupied Syrian Golan.

141 member states have voted in favor of the draft resolution. The US, “Israel” and Liberia have rejected it, while 22 countries have abstained from voting.

The resolution demands “Israel” to abide by resolutions related to the occupied Syrian Golan, particularly resolution No. 497 for 1981 which considers that Israel’s decision to impose its laws on the Golan is null, void and has no legal effect.
