Number of deserters among Ukrainian military growing after the European Commission’s remarks

LUGANSK,SANA- The Luhansk People’s Republic stated that the number of deserters from the ranks of the Ukrainian army increased after the statement by European Commission President , Ursula von der Leyen, about the losses of this army.

TASS news agency quoted Andrei Marochko, an officer in the Luhansk Republic forces as saying , Der Line’s statement that the Ukrainians’ losses during the special military operation amounted to 100,000 dead had affected very negatively the morale of Ukrainian forces.

The officer pointed to an increase in the number of unauthorized departures from the Ukrainian army sites ,as well as more wrangling with commanders and Incidents of taking drugs and alcohol have also increased.

Von der Leyen said in a press statement on Wednesday that “more than 100,000 Ukrainian military officers have been killed up till now .”
