Tashkent,SANA Syria was elected on Monday vice-president of the World Conference on Early Childhood care and Education/2022/ convened by UNESCO in Tashkent, capital city of Uzbekistan.
Syria’s participation includes submitting a national report explaining the reality of early childhood in Syria and the importance of the Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Education in promoting regional work in the care and education of children at this age and the factors that impede achieving the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals, especially what the Arab region in general and Syria in particular suffers from.
The Syrian participation aims to enhance educational relations between all countries to achieve real international support for educational issues, especially in developing countries that are exposed to wars and disasters, including Syria.
The Conference kicked off yesterday and concludes its events in the 16th on the current month.
