Damascus, SANA- Events of “Job Gate” forum, being organized by the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in cooperation with Social Affairs and Labor Ministry, Syria Trust for Development and Syriatel company kicked off at Damascus-based Sheraton Hotel Wednesday.
The two-day forum aims to secure 1,050 job opportunities, with the participation of more than 50 companies and institutions from various sectors and industries, and 100 companies virtually that offer various job opportunities within telecommunications companies, food and pharmaceutical industries, international organizations, banks, engineering companies and others.
Social Affairs Minister Muhammad Seif Al-Din said in a statement that the forum is important in securing job opportunities and networking between job seekers and employers.
He added that the ministry coordinate with all authorities concerned with the aim of securing job opportunities for the largest possible number of young people and providing training for them within the labor market.
