Bratislava, SANA- Member of the European Parliament for Slovakia, Milan Uhrík, has called on the West to change its approach to the Ukrainian crisis and start talks that lead to a peaceful solution to the crisis, instead of continuing to send weapons that prolong the war and imposing sanctions that have not achieved anything.
Uhrík said on his website that after more than seven months of the war, there has been no significant change in the situation, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is still behaving rudely, insulting everyone around him, even the Western countries that help him and escalating every day his demands for more weapons and assistance.
He pointed out that the illegal sanctions imposed on Russia harm the European countries themselves, including Slovakia, and that is why the latter and other countries must work to end these sanctions.
He added that many rational political powers in Germany, Belgium and Poland have also started calling for an end to these meaningless sanctions.
