Damascus, SANA-Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed on Monday the unity of the Syrian and Jordanian peoples in their joint war against terrorism during the current, difficult stage the nation is passing through.
Mikdad, meeting a delegation of Jordanian Medical Support committee in Syria, headed by Dr. Hassan Badran, expressed Syria appreciation for the Committee’s efforts in support of the Syrian people in the humanitarian and medical fields.
“History will record that the Jordanian doctors’ syndicate is the Arab pioneering syndicate that helped the Syrian people who, in turn, didn’t hesitate to offer aid to all Arabs,” Mikdad said.
Badran, for his part, said the committee’s aim is a humanitarian and national one which is represented by backing the Syrian people in the face of aggression to which the country is exposed.
He added that the committee has gathered donations to prepare a medical, relief center in Homs after it has established a similar one in Damascus.
