Damascus, SANA- Minister of Industry, Ziad Sabbag and Nataliya Nikonorova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic discussed Tuesday means of bolstering cooperation between the two countries in various fields of industry.
During the meeting, both sides underlined the importance of work with all available capabilities, exerting efforts to improve and upgrade industry and overcoming all the difficulties caused by the terrorist war and coercive measures.
Sabbagh said that there are investment opportunities in Syria available to all those willing to invest from friendly countries, which contributes to enhancing process of trade exchange, asserting the ministry’s readiness for more coordination and cooperation with Donetsk Republic in heavy industries, which Syria needs in large quantities in the reconstruction process .
Nikonorova, for her part, stressed her country’s readiness to enhance industrial cooperation with Syria despite all the sanctions imposed on the country, calling for intensifying meetings between both countries.
