Prague, SANA- The Executive Secretary of the Trade Union Assembly of Czech and Moravia Selzko Martin Pec affirmed on Friday that the October liberation war defeated the Zionist enemy and the imperialist forces in the Middle East.
October liberation war which was led by late President Hafez al-Assad, was an example of heroism and one of the greatest uprisings of the liberation struggle of the Syrian Arab Army and the progressive and popular forces, the official told SANA correspondent in Prague on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the October Liberation War.
On behalf of the Czech progressive unions, he congratulated the Syrian people and their leadership, and affirmed his country’s full support for the resistance axis in order to end the occupation and liberate the occupied Arab lands.
