Abu Dhabi, SANA- Ambassador Ghassan Abbas, Head of the Syrian mission to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), discussed Tuesday with Minister Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh , the Cultural Advisor to the President of UAE, Chancellor of UAE University, prospects of joint cooperation in the cultural and academic domains.
The two sides underlined the importance of supporting the scientific and academic competences and providing scholarships with discounts for the distinguished Syrian students in the UAE.
The talks also touched upon qualifying the graduates to meet the requirements of job opportunities
Anwar, on his part, hailed the capital of civilization, Damascus, asserting the significant contribution of Syrian community in the UAE to the development and growth progress.
