Moscow, SANSA-Regional Defense Center of the Donetsk People’s Republic announced that five civilians were injured in a Ukrainian shelling of its territory during the past 24 hours.
“As a result of the Ukrainian armed formations’ shelling of the republic’s territory over the past day, five civilians sustained injuries of varying degrees,” TASS news agency quoted the center as saying on its Telegram channel.”
In turn, Eduard Basurin, deputy chief of the DPR People’s Militia, said that the Ukrainian armed forces had fired more than 170 projectiles into Donetsk using heavy artillery, including NATO-standard 155mm weapons, along with mortars.
