Daraa, SANA- The Director General of International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Fatima Mohamed Rahma, asserted the necessity for cooperation between Sudan and the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) through linking technical departments and various agricultural institutions in Arab countries and ensuring the progress of the center regionally and internationally.
During her visit, heading a delegation, to Izraa research center affiliated with ACSAD, Rahma stressed the importance of the researches and experiments carried out at the station, in addition to laboratories and programs on grain, stockbreeding, along with the production of seedlings, pistachios and olives, noting to the need to take advantage of the ACSAD Center for what it offers of research programs on the ground.
