Homs, SANA- 31 new investors have started their projects in Hassia industrial City during the first half of this year, bringing the volume of investments in it to more than SYP 450 billion, and providing about 25 thousand different job opportunities.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Dr. Bassam al-Mansour, Director of Hassia Industrial City, said that the relentless government efforts have reflected positively on the development of investments and the increase in the number of industrial establishments in Hassia Industrial City.
Al-Mansour added that as a result of the provided incentives and the great facilities provided to the investors, the total number of industrial establishments registered in the city has reached up to 964, including 964 facilities, of which 294 are producing facilities and 670 are under construction.
He noted that the percentage of sold area in Hassia has amounted to 65 percent, while the value of revenues achieved during the first half of this year exceeded SYP 3.2 billion, while the spending on projects implemented in Hassia during the past months of this year amounted to SYP one billion and 434 million.
