Moscow, SANA-Aide to the Russian President, Yuri Ushakov, said his country rejects any acts that violate basic principles of the Political settlement in Syria.
“We oppose any acts that could violate the main principles of the political settlement in Syria, including the US activities which still pose a destabilization factor and encourage the separatism east of the Euphrates,”Ushalov told NOVSTI in a briefing on Monday.
He added the US and its allies have not met their commitments to support projects of reconstruction or alleviate sanctions, stressing that the aid’s beyond-border mechanism is a temporal measure that should be ended as it violates the Syrian sovereignty.
As for Turkish plans and threats to carry out new aggression on Syrian territories, Ushakov affirmed that Moscow opposes such actions.
