Damascus, SANA- The Syrian Scientific Physics Olympiad team won a bronze medal and 4 certificates of appreciation in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2022) hosted by Switzerland.
The Excellence and Creativity Commission said in a statement on Sunday that the bronze medal was won by the student Ammar Wael Ali from Younis Bilal School in Lattakia, while certificates of appreciation were gained by the students Salman Muhammad Aji , Alaa Munther Hussein, Ammar Yasser Ragab ,and Mahmoud Zaher Ayroud .
375 students from 75 countries participated in this Olympiad, where the competitions included theoretical and practical tests.
