Damascus, SANA- On the last day of the International Cargo and Customs Clearance Exhibition, the companies participating in the expo and others companies participating in “Medical Care” and “Food Expo” exhibitions have signed Sunday several agreements on exportation.
Director General of Masrat company organizing the exhibition, Anas Zabian, said that 15 agreements have been signed between food and medical companies, and cargo and clearance companies in the field of food sector, in addition to seven cooperation agreements in the medical sector.
Chairman of the Syrian Federation of International Freight Forwarders(SFIFF), Saleh Kaishour highlighted that Transport Ministry provides all facilitations for transportation as Syria possess the largest shipping fleet in the Arab world, and there are 1,100 shipping and transport companies, adding that all Obstacles to transport are external.
For his part, head of Jordanian delegation, Daifallah Abu Aqoula, said the aim of visiting the exhibition is to meet the merchants who ship their goods through Jordanian territory in order to provide all facilitations willing to ship through Aqaba port.
It is notable that about 40 freight and customs clearance companies have participated at the exhibition which was organized by Masarat Company for Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with Transport Ministry and the Syrian Association for Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
