Lavrov stresses the necessity of pursuing a political solution to the crisis in Syria in accordance with UN Resolution 2254

Manama, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reiterated the need to seek a political solution to the crisis in Syria in accordance with UN Resolution 2254.

“We discussed the crisis in Syria and the need to pusue a political solution and to implement Security Council Resolution 2254, we also expressed hope for Syria’s return to the League of Arab States, as here we have a common stance and we will continue working to achieve this.”, Lavrov said.
