Syria committed to joint work to face health risks, Minister says

Geneva, SANA-Health Minister, Hasan al-Ghabbash, said Monday Syria is committed to continue work, on national and international level, to confront health challenges that require an international joint cooperation.

“While Corona pandemic is still active in several countries of the world, new health risks are looming in a number of states as many others suffer crises that pose threat to the world health system, a matter that requires taking measures to put an end to the suffering resulted by those conditions,” Minister Ghabbash said at the 151st session of the Executive Council of World Health Organization being held in Geneva.”

He welcomed efforts exerted to achieve sustainable financing to WHO in a way that guarantees its independence.
