Moscow, SANA- Commander of Russian Strategic Missile Forces Colonel General Sergei Karakaev has announced that “Sarmat” new heavy inter-continental ballistic missile has features that warn enemies that the country is protected.
RIA Novosti news agency quoted Karakaev as saying that this new Russian missile “Sarmat” is capable of flying through the North and South Poles, as well as along other trajectories.
He added that the new missile can easily bypass the hostile missile shield, and this is achieved by reducing the missile’s acceleration range after launching it.
The commander of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces expected this missile to remain in service for 50 years, considering that its characteristics warn the enemy that Russia is well protected.
