Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will significantly drop to become below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere.
The weather will be misty and dusty, especially in the eastern and al-Badia regions, the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little chance for thundershowers over the northwestern, northeastern, al-Jazeera and the coastal regions, Meteorological Department said in its Sunday bulletin
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly in the western and southern regions, meanwhile it will be northerly to northeasterly in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions with a speed of more than 65 km/h, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/15, Daraa 26/12, Homs 23/13, Hasaka 24/15, Tartous 26/16, Aleppo 27/13, Deir Ezzor 27/16.
