New York, SANA – Venezuela has reiterated rejection of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs.
During a meeting of the UN to sum up its work, Venezuelan Ambassador to the UN Rafael Ramirez added that supporting the armed terrorist organizations in Syria is considered as a violation of the international law.
“The political initiatives and dialogue are the only way to resolve the crisis in Syria ,” he asserted.
The Venezuelan Diplomat called upon the UN Security Council to resolve the differences in the world peacefully and far from any foreign interference.
In a relevant context, Ramirez called for ending the Israeli occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within pre-1967 borders.
