Syrian-Belarusian talks to enhance cooperation in different fields

Minsk, SANA- Belarusian Sports and Tourism Minister Sergey Kovalchuk, discussed Monday with Syria’s Ambassador in Minsk, Mohammad al-Omrani cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, especially tourism and sports.

During the meeting, Ambassador al-Omrani conveyed the proposals of the Ministry of Tourism to develop tourism cooperation by taking advantage of the tourism potentials of the two countries, pointing out to Syria’s desire to increase the movement of tourists from Belarus to Syria through the establishment of joint tourism activities.

For his part, Kovalchuk expressed the readiness of the Belarusian side to increase cooperation with the Syrian side by organizing a series of joint events in the fields of sports and tourism, especially after the return to normalcy in Syria.
