Damascus, SANA- Participants in the mass festival held at Yarmouk camp on the occasion of Land Day called for building a national resistance front against the occupation to confront the aggressive occupier policies and to form an Arab front to resist normalization in all parts of the Arab world.
The participants, in a statement delivered at the festival held by the Palestinian national factions and forces, said that the Palestine Liberation Organization is the only legitimate representative of the Palestinian people with its national charter, which includes that Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinian Arab people and an integral part of the Arab world, stressing the need to end the division immediately by unifying the Palestinian people on the basis of struggle and democracy.
Secretary-General of the Abnaa al-Balad Movement in Palestine, Raja Ghobariya, pointed out, via video, that Land Day constituted a remarkable step in the march of the Palestinians who adhere to their land and turn to the popular struggle against the occupation, stressing the need to firmly confront the projects of the surrender settlement aimed at liquidating the Palestine cause through resistance in all its forms.
Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia Atallah Hanna in Jerusalem said that the unity of the Palestinian people has become a national and strategic demand in order to be strong in defending rights and constants and facing conspiracies and challenges.
