New York, SANA- There is evidence that extremists in Ukraine are preparing new chemical provocations, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky said.
In a press statement Polyansky warned the Kyiv regime and its sponsors that they will bear direct responsibility for any possible actions in Ukrainian facilities where chemicals are stored.
“Due to Kyiv regime’s disregard for the Biological Weapons Convention, its development of a military biological program with US support and its desire to possess nuclear weapons, it is clear that, with the encouragement of the West, nothing will stop it to intimidate its people and launch attacks to accuse Russia in a scenario similar to the chemical incidents carried out by terrorist groups in Syria with the help of Western intelligence to accuse the Syrian government of them,” Polyansky said.
“There is evidence that extremists in Ukraine are preparing new chemical provocations, and nationalist regime in Kyiv and its sponsors will bear direct responsibility for any possible incidents in facilities storing toxic materials and will be held accountable for that,” Polyanskiy added.
The Russian diplomat noted that the nationalists had delivered containers of toxic materials to a school in Kotlidolho village, southern Ukraine, to detonate them when the Russian forces approach, stressing that Russia has not and will not plan to carry out strikes against any Ukrainian facility for storing or producing toxic materials.
