China calls upon US to take tangible measures to calm situation in Ukraine

Beijing, SANA- China called upon the US on Tuesday to take concrete measures to calm the situation in Ukraine.

Xinhua quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian as saying in a press conference in response to US media reports claiming that Russia had requested military and economic assistance from China, that “the United States creates and spreads disinformation from time to time, which is unprofessional, irresponsible and immoral.”

Zhao added that these practices will only lead to a further loss of US credibility in the world,” pointing out that Washington, in its turn, should consider the developments of the Ukrainian crisis and take concrete measures to calm the situation there.
