Damascus, SANA- Minister of Education, Darem Tabbaa, discussed Saturday with Vice President of the Russian State University of Mordovia, Sergey Pavlov, ways to enhance and develop cooperation in the field of vocational and industrial education, teaching the Russian language and exchanging expertise.
During the meeting, Minister Tabbaa indicated that in addition to education and knowledge building, education curricula aims to achieve skills development and qualification for the labor market, hailing the distinguished cooperation between Syria and Russia.
In turn, Pavlov briefed the Minister on the accredited education system at Mordovia University, referring to the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two sides through signing a cooperation agreement, as well as studying the possibility of offering scholarships to outstanding Syrian students to complete their studies at Mordovia University.
