Tehran, SANA- Syria and Iran on Monday discussed means to enhance joint cooperation in the field of administrative affairs and development.
That came during a meeting between Minister of Administrative Development, Dr. Salam Safaf and Assistant to the Iranian President and Head of for Public Administration and Employment Affairs Organization, Dr. Maytham Latifi.
Minister Safaf hailed the advanced Iranian expertise in the field of qualification and training, highlighting the importance of the executive cooperation in this field.
She also stressed the need to jointly benefit from ideas, projects and experiences for development and administrative research between the two countries
Minister Safaf called for adopting administrative diplomacy in relations among countries.
For his part, Latifi underlined the importance of forming a committee for administrative relations between both countries to achieve continuous and effective cooperation.
At the conclusion of Safaf’s visit to Tehran, both sides highlighted the importance of implementing the memo of understanding which they signed, in addition to setting up the appropriate mechanisms to reach the desired results.
Both sides agreed to translate the administrative references in the two countries into Arabic and Persian in order to benefit from the expertise of both of countries
