Iranian Minister: No limits for aspects of cooperation between Syria and Iran

Tehran, SANA-Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Bahram Einollahi, discussed on Tuesday with the Syrian Ambassador in Tehran, Shafiq Dayoub, means of enhancing cooperation in the health field and medical education and aspects of benefiting from the capabilities available in this sector.

The Iranian Minister said that there are no limits to the horizons of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the medical, therapeutic and educational fields, proposing the establishment of a working group between the Syrian Embassy and the International Relations Department of the Iranian Ministry of Health to outline areas of cooperation.

“Our country is ready to provide the necessary assistance to Syria in the field of health infrastructure that was damaged by acts of terrorism” the Minister said, noting that the Iranian pharmaceutical industry has made great progress and the Syrian side can benefit from it.

For his part, Ambassador Dayoub stressed the importance of cooperation between the Iranian Ministry of Health and the Ministries of Health and Higher Education in Syria in the specific medical, educational and pharmaceutical fields.

The Ambassador extended congratulations to the leadership, government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of ( Fajr decade) the victory of the Islamic Revolution, wishing progress and prosperity to the country.
