Below-average temperatures, snow expected over mountains

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop to become from 1 to 3 degrees below average as the country is affected by low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere

accompanied by cold and wet polar air mass.

The skies will be partly cloudy to rainy over different regions, snow is expected over the high mountains, according to Meteorology Department Saturday bulletin.

The wind will be southwesterly with low to a moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

Over the past hours, different amounts of rainfalls were registered in a number of provinces as follows: Homs 35mm, Tartous 13,5mm and Daraa 7mm.

The expected temperatures in various Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 10/4, Daraa 9/3, Homs 9/4, Hasaka 10/2, Tartous 15/9, Aleppo 11/3, Deir Ezzor 14/5
