Syrian tennis player Allaf and Zimbabwean partner win gold in Fujairah championship

Abu Dhabi, SANA- Syrian tennis player Karim Allaf and his Zimbabwean partner Tadiwa Chinamo won a gold medal for the under-18 doubles competitions of the 7th Fujairah International Tennis Championship which is being held at the United Arab Emirates.

Allaf and Chinamo won by defeating the South African team of Calvin Jordaan and JD Malan in two clean sets at 7-6 6-1.

Allaf, classified first in the championship, qualified to the final match in singles competition, due to be held tomorrow Saturday.

Allaf’s win will improve his international ranking, which is currently 204th for the under-18 players of the nternational Tennis Federation (ITF).
