Non-Aligned Movement condemns Israeli occupation’ practices in occupied Syrian Golan

New York, SANA – The Coordinating Bureau of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) condemned in strongest terms the practices of Israeli occupation in the occupied Syrian Golan and its meeting on this territory and declaring a scheme to build two new settlements to double the number of settlers there.

“The meeting and provocative plan constitute an escalation and dangerous violation of the international law and the UN resolutions , particularly the resolution of Security Council no. 497 of 1981, “as the Bureau said in a statement to SANA.

It added that “all the measures and actions taken or which will be taken by Israel, the occupation power, which aim to change the legal and demographic status of the occupied Syrian Golan, in addition to Israeli procedures aimed at implementing its judicial authority and administration there are null and void and have no legal effect.
