27 new coronavirus cases, 4 deaths recorded in Syria

Damascus, SANA- 27 new coronavirus cases, 122 recoveries and 4 deaths were recorded in Syria on Sunday, according to a statement by the Health Ministry.

The statement showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 50,337, of which 32,761 have recovered, while 2,905 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22^nd, 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported a week later.
