Damascus, SANA- Syria registered 86 new coronavirus cases, 117 recoveries and 5 fatalities on Saturday, Health Ministry said.
The total number of infections detected in the country has reached up to 48,538 of which 29,624 have recovered, while 2,772 have passed away, according to a statement by the Ministry.
On March 22nd, the first coronavirus was recorded in Syria in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported one week later.
