Madrid, SANA-Syria participates in the activities of the 24th session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) held in Madrid.
The UNWTO’s meetings will last until the 3rd of current December.
On the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the UNWTO session, Tourism Minister, Muhammad Rami Radwan Martini, pointed out in a press statement to European media, the return of normal life to many historical places and archaeological markets that were visited by Europeans.
Martini stressed the continued work to restore their brightness as part of the recovery of the tourism sector in Syria.
He indicated that with the return of security and stability to Syria, the work on rehabilitating tourist facilities continues in order to put them into service, in addition to the opening of new ones.
The Minister pointed out that the ministry is also working on training and qualifying the young generation to be able to work in the tourism market.
