Damascus, SANA- 250 new coronavirus cases, 90 recoveries, and 6 fatalities were registered in Syria on Friday, according to the Health Ministry.
“The total number of infections detected in the country till now has reached up to 44,699, of which 26,839 have recovered, while the fatalities have amounted to 2,606”, the Ministry said in a statement to SANA.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd of 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
